What started as my first trainer, the Hubsan X4 107D, has evolved in to this. I've only had this going for a day but there are already a few items that need tweaking. This setup need a vreg on the line as I'm getting lots of banding and I need a small rubber/foam mount under the camera or another way to secure the camera.
It currently weighs in at 36g without the battery. The voltage step up will add 0.5g. So full setup will be 49.5g with 500mah battery, or 45.5g with the 380mah battery.

How much does it weigh and what are your flight times like?
My scale is at work so I'll update on Tuesday. Flight times are about 3 minutes with 380mah. I've got 500's on the way next week.
At 3min the voltage is at 3.7, any less and it drops below what the camera requires. I've got the step up/step down coming to normalize it to 5v.
Of note, the default Hubsan 'flash the LED's cause your battery is dead' kicks in after only 45 seconds.
Might be able to save a few grams if you remove the LEDs.
Yep for sure! Left them on right now to see when the FC thinks the battery is dead.
My Inductrix has been triggering the low voltage cutoff really early like that, even on new batteries. I wonder if it's off like yours. I may try to disable it.
