RS90

I build the RS90 for indoor flying. It works quite well in my 50qm (540sq ft) apartment, but it is way more fun in a bit bigger areas like a school.
The frame is 3D printed nylon which i dyed with fabric color. I also got the carbon fibre baseplate but i have not used it yet.
The files for the frame are available on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1596739
In addition i ordered some steel screws to replace the nylon screws in the front which are constantly breaking while crashing indoors.
I initially used DYS XM10A ESCs but they were horrible (or undersized?!). Some were already dead when i got them, some burned through after a little crash. After switching to the Racerstar RS20 i am very happy, everything works flawlessly now. Since they are a bit bigger than the XM10A they have to be stacked a little which is not optimal but it works. I am hoping for a smaller RX like the FS-A8S with telemetry support, which would solve the space problem.

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
