Doinker

For some indoor flying or flying in smaller spaces build me a Doinker with a 3D printed frame.

Build it a little different then normal. Went for a 4in1 ESC on the bottom. I needed to remove some materials from the frame ducts to mount the ESC flush to the mounts on the bottom of the frame. With that choice it was a little bit of a puzzle on how to mount the battery. Printed the bottom battery mount and used some 3mm spacers to mount it over the ESC board. The battery strap goes under the battery mount plate and didn't use the 2 slots. With some Velcro on the mount and the battery the battery sits tight on the frame. Also found some prop holders from some Xnova motors that perfectly fit the bottom of the frame to add some extra strength.

Flight time is not great with the 2S 450mAh batteries I'm using. It's now a little more then 3 minutes with some easy slow flying. Still want to try some higher capacity batteries like 2S 650mAh ones.

Will try to add some more photo's soon with some more details of the frame and electronics.

Looks really clean with the 4-in-1. I really want to do a build like this after I'm done with my current one.

Yeah tried to go for the clean look. I didn't liked the default way too mount 4 seperate ESC's with lots of wires.

Was a bit of a puzzle and it will not be easy to remove elektronics and put it in a new frame the way I mounted and wired the motors.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
