2nd build. Still not 100% done, but close enough to post. Overall, I enjoyed the extra build room this frame provided me with. For reference my 1st build was a x210v+ and it was a real chore trying to cram everything into a single stack space. So far I have nothing but love the Kombini FC! Running DShot300, 8 kHz gyro and 4 kHz accel w/ loop times @ ~250 and cpu load < 30%. Whisper quiet. Will post additional photos once I have completed the build. Hopefully I don't break anything before those parts arrive.

very very clean! i love it! did you paint the frame white yourself? if so with what / how?

dangerousFPV   Feb 24, 2017

Didn't paint it, i used 3m carbon fiber vinyl wrap and wrapped the entire thing.

where did you find the wrap?

That's some crazy work with the white, nice job! Hopefully your Kratos doesn't break like I've broken two of them now. :( Good luck! (Just protect the front arms!)

Are your ESCs in wire mesh? Thats an interesting idea, haven't seen that done before, any concern that the heat might cause the mesh to melt?

Possibly, tbh haven't made it that far yet.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
