I purchased a hubsan x4 107d but I dont care for the frame or fpv camera. I have only used a soldering iron once and I want to get my feet wet soldering and attempting to make my hubsan personalized. These parts below i have no idea of they work. Basically I want to use my hubsan FC and motors with that fpv camera and VFX... or is it possible to take that camera and attach it to the VFX that I already have? Any help or ideas would be great!

Hey, nice idea! I think it might work, but the problem might be supplying power to FC and FPV system (as I don't think it will be possible to power the camera/Vtx from the FC). So, you might need a separate battery for the FPV system which will increase weight and might be a problem. However, the build is cheap (if you already have the FC and the motors) so try it :)

Awesome. I havent built it yet but i was thinking that camera vtx combo would weigh more than the parts i had linked in the build. They parts i had may be the same weight but putting all of it in the front seems like it would make the dynamics of flying more difficult. Spacung the weight across the frame is the direction i was thinking on regards to having a seperate camera/ vtx. Also i think your hubsan is the non fpv model. I have the camera so all those parts would be removed and replaced. And im hoping the frame has enough space with a few modifications to hold the new parts
( disclaimer: ive only been in the hobby for a month )

yep, your will be ≈1.8 grams lighter than mine which is good. I'm actually going to use my camera/VTx on a different quad but the parts haven't come in yet so I put it on this for fun. My frame is a Syma x11c, not a hubsan but they are pretty similar. It had a camera (not FPV but just for recording). I think your frame at 5g will be a little lighter than the Hubsan 107 though.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
