This is my first real quadrocopter with 4S.
Build it in 5 hours with no problems, now off to the tuning.
I already ordered a TBS Unify Pro Race, because the Eachine broke. Fortunately I had another one to hand. Additionally I need to add a capacitor for the VTX.
Will update my progress on tuning the PIDs.
--- Update 1 ---
TBS Unify Pro Race installed, flawless transmittion. Currently I get around 4.30 flight time with the Multistar LiPos with moderat flying. I might try some 5040 props soon.
For the tuning part I'm add it. Right now it's totaly flyable total response, but it definitely needs some tweaking in the turns. I ordered a runcam 3, so there might be some on-flight footage soon. Next step is to upgrade my cam to an arrow 3 or something.
--- Update 2 ---
I switched the receiver to a SPM4649T for telemetry and RSSI warning. I printed a new hood with rocket boostes on it. Yeeahi and soon my pagoda antenna parts will arrive.
All happy flying! :)
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Interesting RX antenna placement. I normally run them from behind the front arms, so this is the first time I've seen them going forward from the rear arms.
The receiver fitted best in the back of the quad. But the antennas were too short to make them point backwards. Right now it works, I've got 4 spare antennas, when one might break, but let's see.
