ImpulseRC really did something amazing here. Building this quad was so nice. All the custom components work together so perfectly and the pre chamfered carbon is a bonus. I understand it's not for everyone since you can only choose what motors and esc ( which due to the farings short is limited by size ) you want, but it is so well thought out I didn't mind.
Flight performance is typical for a true x and very easy to tune thanks to a clever way the FC is isolated from the standoffs.
Although beta flight 3.1 now also has this feature it is really nice to be able to control your VTX and your flight controller through the OSD.
Just like with the Alien ImpulseRC has another winner

looks good, very clean! I was thinking about getting the helix as my next build, but I was worried about the antenna braking off the VTX. Does that seem like it would be a problem in your opinion?

The VTX that are shipping now have epoxy on the connector to reinforce. With that said I have an original that's not reinforced, only with zip ties, and have had no issues with many crashes.
