Your drill is the drill that will pierce the heavens!

Unfortunately, nowadays I can't fly big quads somewhere outside. Therefore, consider this tiny pal as a dedication to my dream to build a big drone one day.
As a result, this build has been totally based on the idea to build a "true mature quad" like a 5" one but in as small a size as possible. Hence, I've used here the flying stack instead of the AIO module. That makes the drone a bit heavier, but in return, I've received some additional experience in choosing FPV drone parts, drone assembling, and its configuration.
But most importantly, it gave me the drone I like! It's awesome, especially as the first drone built by myself.

The most challenging of building this was putting everything inside such a tiny frame. As you can see there is no space left inside, and literally every square cm of inner space is utilized for something: the stack takes all frames' height from the bottom to the top, the ELRS receiver takes some place under the camera, and the capacitor is forced to peeking outside because of its size.
It's funny that 20mm screws were proven to be too short to be used in a stack with VTX, but 25mm were too long to fit inside the frame. So, I needed to cut the extra 3mm of it, to make it fit.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
