As cheap as possible - that's all I can say about this copter. Despite this, it flies surprisingly well.
Batteries are perfect, I have a pair of AHTECH Infinity 4S 14.8V 1300mAh 85C and one more 1500mAh same brand.
VTX is EWRF e7086TM3 and it does the job but has some flaws: I can't set output power through SmartAudio, but channel switch works good.
I do not recommend you to use this motors (RCX SE2205) as they are rather weak.

its not that cheap, those motors and props suck tho, why biblade? everything else is pretty normal spec imo

props was only $0.01, so they're really cheap. for the very first quad it's okay.
but why motors sucks? this http://www.myrcmart.com/images/upload/RCX07-450-RCX-SE2205-2400KV-Test-Table.png looks like good enough.
what motors would you prefer?

there is nothing wrong with them, its just that you couldve gotten better bang for yourt buck but this is fine. anyways treat yourself to some nice quality triblade props. i didnt know it was your first build, in that case good stuff!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
