My X-210, a QAV-X 4mm REPLICA. The frame is quite strong, if well mounted. The little spare parts of the top frame can break easily if the horizontal spacer is not weel installed. I had problem with the camera wire wich disconnected at each crash. So, I finished to block the camera at the higher tilt position. I used some hot glue to block the back of the camera with the top frame spare element. Motors are really good, a lot of tork, and the SPF3 EVO on BF 2.9 turns at 8k / 4k, so it's locked enough to race in good conditions. The weight is around 330g without the lipo (with strap and props).

Looks Awesome! I am in between the Realacc X210 and this frame. How was the build with this frame?

MOMO RACER   Dec 14, 2016

hello Hillfpv, the build was quite easy, but the 28mm is a little short, 30mm should be perfect, but now, we can find nano rx for tarans, as the XMR, really smaller than a mini rx as the XSR :)

nice build! what did you wrap the esc with? benefit?

MOMO RACER   Oct 27, 2016

thanks for comment! i tried to wrap the esc for 2 reasons; the first is to avoid vibration from motor / arm, and the second, most important, to protect them against missed gate, i finished by adding a sctoch tape to isolate wires. At this moment, the protection is effective, i had to change one wraped protection bescause of a broken propeller... and that's all, it's strong and effective, and better looking with black / orange scotch tape finition :)

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
