Blue and purple build based around 2205 1750kv Brother Hobby motors. Custom canopy will hold an SMA pigtail and full size cam. Got some Josh Bardwell Racewire on sale for $.99 each. w00t w00t!

02/02/19 - Started to install the FC and got all ESC tones when powering through 5v. I tried sending Vbat to the vbat pad and it lit on fire.

Do you fly this rig on 4s? How do you like those motors, I haven't run a kv that low. I know people do it on 6s, and I don't have any 6s batteries. I was thinking about making a 6s kwerd and running it on 4s till I get some packs, is it still fast and powerfull?

So I tried it on 4S and it was very very smooth. Flies and went around a track just fine. I'm using pretty high pitch props to compensate. Also my throttle expo is very steep at the beginning of throttle and end of throttle. I did this to compensate for the lack of power in the 1750kv. The higher curve lets them spin up faster and stay in that flight zone. When I need more power it ramps up quickly when I go full stick. I tried it on a 5S pack and it's insanely fast. The additional weight is very noticeable and I wasn't as smooth on the track. It kept wanting to drift by the turns. It made for some insane freestyle moves but not really my cup of tea. 6S batteries are expensive. It's a different experience for sure but not a venture I want to spend money on or pursue. Hope that helps!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
