Another Toothpick II

Lately I've been enjoying a 2.5" toothpick to reduce noise / intimidation while flying in local parks but missed the wind resiliance and terrifying speed of bigger quads. As an experiment I built this 3" toothpick due to many claiming that they "fly like a 5-inch." While it does indeed fly like a bigger quad, I'm not sure that I prefer it over the 2.5":

Wind resiliance and general stability are materially better than the 2.5"
Speed is also better but not dramatically so
Flight times significantly longer (about 6:00 vs 3:00 on the 2.5") but this may suggest that my batteries are too big (using 525 mah and 650 mah 3S battaries)
Handling is much "heavier" than the 2.5" which make it less flickable in tight gaps and debatably less fun

hey, did you try biplane propellers?

I haven't yet mostly because I like the way triplanes fly better and the biplanes tend to be louder (part of my motivation for this build was a quiet park flyer). Having said that, I probably will give them a shot in the near future just as an experiment.
