F330 GPS equiped FPV toy :D
It's running a open source CX-20 FC (Basically a slimmed down APM 2.6), GPS, and compass, I originally had this FC in my cx-20, then output 4 blew out, I then installed a APM 2.6 into my CX-20. Then "fatquad" on the rc groups made me custom firmware to use output 6 instead of 4. (4 & 5 were busted)
Later I installed that fc onto my F330, and bought a used cx-20 gps and compass for $10.
Also I got the Iris+ motors for a few bucks a piece during the clearence sale, gps/compass stand I happen to have lying around.
Oh yeah! I 3d printed those landing legs! (I did not design them though!)

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

It's a cram to get all of that in a f330!
Hey, looking good! How's it flying now?
Considering im using mismatched props it flies good, I have more props coming via DHL... Who knows when that is going to get here!
I bought a used CX-20 compass and cable (Because I couldn't find the connectors I need for the compass) and he threw in a maybe working gps. It seems to work but takes forever to pick up satellites, so long I can't even use the gps half the time. I think im going to just buy a new gps that has glonass.
Looks like I need to update my CX-20 post to... Those pictures are awful, And now I have a 3d printed backdoor for the extended battery!
It's fun to have a copter that isn't a CX-20 eggshell. Being able to whip it around and knowing if I crash I don't need to buy an entire new shell is awesome! I mean a F330 arm is what, $2? New props? $1 a piece? That's how you have fun!
