I don't know what your budget is, but upgrade your FC a little bit. for $10 more get the omnibus f3. It has an On screen display and voltage regulators built in.
i didn't actually build it to this spec more was just listing this as a reference but that is a good point i wish i had used a fc with an osd in my first build. Also don't like the racerstar rs2205 2600kv motors horrible bearings
