This is my first build. While many recommend following others parts lists & build guides I've never been the type to do "standard", plus once I saw the numbers the new F60 2450kv was putting out I knew I had to have a set which I pre-ordered & should get the first part of July.

From there I found DYS' new XS30A with BLHELI which again I had to pre-order & should get sometime after the F60s. All the power I'll be pumping out got me thinking the PDB included with the QAV-R with its 100a limit might not cut it. There's a couple others that'd go to 110a at best but nothing close to the Demon Core 2.3's 180a limit, so all the way from Poland it went :)

I almost went with the QuadRevo PowerOSD with the on boarding OSD it's awesome. Using the Demon Core I needed an OSD. Everyone seems to love the OSDoge & I'll probably try it on another build at some point but for this one it's too big, too heavy & the Micro MinimOSD w/ KV Team Mod was perfect. I can't wait to start playing with the interface. I say it's too big because while it fits right on top of the flight controller just fine with most builds, I designed & printed a custom case & antenna mounts for the FrSky XSR. That too was my first 3d design & we'll see how it turns out when I pick it up at the local 3dhub.

Flight controller was a bit more work to find but I knew I wanted at least an F3. I nearly went with the Dodo, it's a solid board but in the end the BlueJayF4 won in spite of still working out some bugs & not being recommended for beginners I'm gonna try it out, whenever it gets here that is.

Got my ESCs & soldered everything up to my Demon Core last week, also got some various goodies(wire, Mesh, etc) from HobbyKing(a month later from Singapore!) So all I'm waiting for now is my Bluejay FC which should ship any day now & my antennas + VTX from Getfpv which will be here tomorrow.
