Working on a 1s brushless quadcopter. I have a bunch of 1s batteries from a brushed build, wanted to try a brushless build about the same size. Not sure what motors to go with, wanted to use 0705 15000kv but seem to have been discontinued, unsure about going with 0703 20000kv or if i should step up to a 1102/3 10000kv motor. Frame will be custom made, have a few mockups in CAD but waiting until i get some feedback on the motors. Props will be either walkera 56mm or step up to 65mm for 0703 or 1535 for 1102/3 series motors. Let me know what you guys and gals think
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

I believe the 07 size motors all use bushings instead of bearings so I don't know that they will last much longer than a typical brushed motor would. For this reason I would opt for 1103 size motors.
thanks. I have been doing some research and thinking the same thing
