I thought it would work out so much better than it did. It works, it's just not near as fun as I had hoped. I've thought about 2s, but the only 2s motors I can find are less than half the kv, do I don't know if it would do any good, especially with the heavier battery too
i put the 2s fc from q90c flying frog in my x5. i have yet to tune pids so with the stock micro's PIDs the motors would only fly 20 seconds or so before losing power and it wouldnt fly. it carried a 2s 450mah but like i said only fpr 20sec or so. maybe i can go into betaflight and up p and d to 100 or so and have success. i ordered a pitchplus 115 frame today and gonna try that on 2s with same FC on 8520s. The q90c has regular 720mm motors so 8520s should give me the punch i need to stay flying lol. without punch i hit stuff, hard.
