hey man, sick build! are you using the ppm or ibus on that flysky? im having such a hard time trying to connect my quad to sbus ( not really sure whether its the uart that im activating incorrectly on betaflight or the solder point that i connected it too) i have it on ppm as of now but i can tell theres a big difference in the flight characteristic. if you can help me out that would be great!
Thanks, mate! I had problems getting ibus to work on that particular fc, too. The reason was that the port that is labeled as ppm/sbus is harware-inverted which is bad for ibus. Thus, i did not use the pins on the half of the fc where the motor signal wires are located but the uart pins on the other side. This video explains it pretty clearly:
Afterwards you simply have to set uart1 to serial rx in betaflight. Hope that helps :)
