initially i thought this frame looked a bit silly with the low slung head but it has a lot of things going for it
can't wait to see how it flies.

My Fouride playlist that has all my flights, dvr/gopro etc.

11th October 2020
ah, forgot to rotate board orientation by 45 degrees! gave me a bit of a panic as it still flew, just with lots of high frequency wobble like the P was too high.
this was my first time flying DJI cam (and not the nebula) it's significantly better!

13th October 2020
went out this time to a bigger area and with the gopro lite hero 6
gave it a 650mah 4s and boy does it go!

then gave it another 450mah 3s cruisey flight

Some more footy:

flies good on 3s as well!

Final update:
I took this to a bando and flew it till it was destroyed. so the StanFPV T-Mount motors are not really made for bandos or freestyle really...more for cinewhoops. They are powerful and smooth. just can't take hard hits. I broke one before and replaced it with the new 2204 size version. then at this bando, in the last hit, 3 motors got destroyed. They all broke in the same way...the bell separates from the shaft. Probably the 5mm shaft version is more suitable for freestyle.
Here are the last flights in unedited raw form:

Since frame parts are hard to source in the UK, I've decided to move on from this frame. I will miss it though, the fouride shines. it's on the top of the list of quads that fly well. It's quite subjective but the way I judge is how much I'm just free to rip it around. When a frame/quad isn't flying well, I'm subconciously adjusting and compensating and my brain doesn't allow me to hit gaps and fly any proximity lines. The best quads are the ones where I just start flowing on the very first maiden pack...even with a sub optimal tune.
A few frames off the top of my head that have been like this are the weemix, intrepid v2 and the babyhawk-r with 2.5" arms and of course this fouride.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
