My first 250 FPV Multi-Rotor build.

I have been flying a Syma X5C for the past few months to learn the basics and decided i wanted to take it further. So i spent the next month or so planning my build and deciding which parts to order. I went for an Fr-Sky Taranis transmitter and everything you see below for the actual quad build.
Ive just completed the build this evening and tested the quad and fpv gear. All seems fine so will take it for its first flight tomorrow. It will also be my first flight in fpv. However i have been practicing on FPV Freerider on the pc, just hope that it is a realistic experience or i could be in for a major repair bill.

UPDATE: 22/10/2015

Replaced Rotorgeeks 12amp ESC's with LittleBee 20amp ESC's.
Replaced Naze32 with SeriouslyPro F3.
Replaced Gemfan 5030 with DAL 5040.
Added Xiaomi Yi Action Cam.

I like the white props! I'll have to use a currency converter on the USD prices. I'll see if I can get that fixed.

I'm studying Game Design & Programming at the moment. Did a little web design on my foundation course last year so i know what you mean. Love how simple the site is and very clear and concise. Love it.

When I started college many years ago my goal was to get into video game development. After my department invited a few game developers for Q&A sessions I gave up on that ambition. No 15 hour work days for me. I felt like I was taking the easy way out doing web development, but it's turned out to be a great choice and quite valuable.

Clean build man. you may think to upgrade to some bullnose when you are ready. As for game design there is some great software on sale right now from Humble bundle. If you plan on releasing anything for android or want more than the free version has to offer its a killer deal. Humble bundle has a weekly sale going on right now. Each piece of the software is normally $150 so it saves you like $288 in the end. Good luck with school. To build off whiffleX game development can be very draining. ive talked to a few game devs and some have said its ruined playing games for them. Idk how far you are in your degree so you may already know you love making games. good luck.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
