The Tyro79 - Good, Bad, or Ugly for 79$? My verdict - Bad. This kit came with a horrible cam, missing hardware for mounting the stack (glad I had extra around), a battery strap that can't secure a 4S battery (to small), crappy props (bullnose 4 blade), a VTX cable wired badly (was setup to power the vtx on 5 volts when it really needed at least 7 volts and smartaudio not wired), and a poorly designed Flight Controller (OSD is hard wired to TX2 so when you setup SmartAudio you would get issues with OSD disappearing) Ended up using SoftSerial and remapped the LED_STRIP pin for SmartAudio. Yeah, it flew with the default stuff but not enjoyable. Ended up swapping out the cam for a RunCam MicroSwift 3 V2, putting in a Matek F411-mini FC, a higher power VTX had laying around (HGLRC Forward VTX Mini with MMCX connector), soft mounting the motors, and adding RaceKraft 3076 props. Made a huge difference. Not a "superfast" quad but a great beater / cruiser, fun to fly. Check out the after mods video. ;p.

It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
