I was planning on making a 2S variant with Avatar and FPVCycle 2104 motors, and now I'm curious if it's worth it to save weight and go for 1404 instead. Curious what the difference in amp draw is going to look like between the two.

I'm looking g to use the skystars kramam with elrs rx, bn180 and smartaudio... I think I have to add an extra tx and rx pin using softserial. how did you do it?

how are you calculating 6.6A hover and 44min flight time on 2S? Your 2S pack has 3000ma in it, if you are drawing 6.6 you will get around 20min+

it was cruising at 6.6 amps but hovering at under 4.

Could you share your pids settings? I've build one with specs near this one and I'm not able to tune it correctly.

Nice build! I'd recommend getting a spot welder for the batteries.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
