Put together the new QAV-S with the CaddX Vista and custom printed an HD Mount and custom SMA holder. Had some older SunnySky R2305 2480kv motors laying around that I've been holding on to for a rainy day, and decided this was a good build to put them on! Flew amazing first pack with my standard tune. I love not having to tune!

Upgraded it to Betaflight 4.3, recently! Flies even better!

Second pack, first pack not in my yard here:

I have a question if you dont mind.
? what do you think of Folding props . in particular the propwash handeling.
Cheers

That's actually an interesting question. Rapid changes in RPMs are likely to cause some leading during deceleration or lagging during acceleration with the hinges on the props, and I could see that having some impact on prop wash and other aggressive types of situations where the RPMs are changing very quickly. I would love to set up a good high speed camera and get some footage of what that looks like! I don't have an answer to that question right now, but i can definitely see that changing the shape of thrust curves during RPM changes.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
