This is my second TP3 build. My first build has been decommissioned as parts of it are now on this build while others will be destined for another new build in the works. Gotta love this hobby!

So my first build I selected 7777kv motors and was running multiple rate profiles and working in conjunction with a throttle limit scale of 80% for 3s. I did this because I figured I would also front door fly on 2s which I have not done outside of the first week…

Not only did I opt for a motor rpm change moving to 5555kv I also did not care much for the Eachine Triangle-D DVR/VTX either so moved to a Nano V2 as it has been a solid light weight VTX Ive used in other builds that almost doubles the range I was able to get out of the Triangle.
I do quite a lot of flying in the dark, which is why the Toothless 2 nano is currently my favorite.

I opted to add a Tiny Trainer Led kit to this build to add some color to some of my evening flights and was pleasantly surprised with how nice of a micro led kit it is.

3/12 Update
After a multitude of evening and early morning, flying Ive disabled the led strip that was placed under the canopy. The additional light does not help the toothless 2 nano at all especially in an urban environment when already having to deal with a multitude of external light sources.

looking at your motors for a 2.5" phantom toothpick build. What is your dry weight? and are you happy with their performance?

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
