This is actually the same FR7 quad I build a long time ago, I maneged to destroy the frontal part of its print parts, So i thought might as well design a whole set of print parts for it.

And Yes I do aware that this kind of cutout only make sense on metal parts , and all these cutout on 3d printed parts will not save much weight but greatly reduce the rigidity of the parts. (So some of the parts have little cutouts)
But~ hey, Who cares weight and rigidity as long as it looks good and flys OK~
And I also design some other parts that may come in handy

There are different parts for different style. At the end of the day, I choosed the some parts that features alot of cutout and printed them out

After dismounting all previous parts, I put all the pieces together for a test fit.

And I found out the mounting space for the DJI cam if about 1mm wider, duel to my poor design, I Rushed to fix this problem with longer screw and some double sided tape.

I'm especially happy about how the rear GPS and Antena mount turn on, 2 pieces just swing together to hold the GPS (I'm using the BN-880Q) and CRSF T Antena. And it hold 2 longrange Hammer antenas well.
these 2 pieces can be tied together thus hide the GPS inside, present a sleek surface on the tail (Kind like a sports car spoiler~)

the AirUnit Holder is the most flexy part, but it is mounted on one of aluminium stand and will be friction fit between upper plate and middle plate, this allow the Air Unit have a large contact area with the middle plate, as the carborn conduct heat well, hopefully this will help the heat dissipation for Air Unit

Over all I'm pretty pleased by the quality of the prints and how it looks on the frame, it feels like a new quad makes me Happy~

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
