Ok, it's not really a cinewhoop, it's a 5" Mark4 frame with StanFPV ducts. I tried these ducts out on my Evoque, but it was spinning on 6S motors, and to keep the weight down I flew it on 4S batteries. The long and short of it was that it didn't have the legs.

This time I've got some 2400kv motors and trying again. I've not maidened her yet, but if I get a chance tomorrow I'll let you know how she flies.

can you give a little bit more detail and the flight characteristics of the evoque with these ducts? I've just received the ducts in the mail and haven't installed them on the 6s evoque yet

Yo man,

Like I said, I don't think I can give you a definitive verdict because I was using 4S on the 1800kv motors. The ducts made the quad more susceptible to the wind, but I think the sail like properties are probably sought after if you're cinewhooping, slowing the quad down for smooth flying. They certainly reduced the thrust versus nazgul props that came with the quad. I chose the MK4 frame for this build because its a reasonably light, strong frame. Still haven't had the opportunity to fly this one yet, I'll keep you updated.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
