Sub100g flight over 20 minutes

A small competition was held in Japan where participants used quad weighing less than 100g to continuously fly for 20 minutes and complete as many laps as possible.

I developed this drone specifically for that purpose.
Using this quad, I was able to win the competition.

Through this experience, I gained insights into flying with high power efficiency
・using larger propellers with low pitch
・lower KV values
・minimizing the weight of the aircraft, and maximizing the battery capacity.

Please check out the archived video on YouTube Live to see how the competition unfolded.

Thats really cool! If you aren't already, I think you could gain some efficiency by using solid pin ph2.0. The ones you have look like the crimped type.

I think you're right. This time, we didn't spend much on materials and built it using existing parts, so we are using this old type PH2.0 connector😅

Thanks!
The battery plugs are connected in parallel.
Using a small universal board, I'm combining connectors to put four 1s batteries in parallel.
The fourth picture might be helpful.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
