So I got this little quad years ago as an rtf kit.

Upgraded the remote to a jumper t lite elrs and goggles to the eachine ev100.

I wanted to put a micro ceramic antenna elrs reciever on it but managed to tear the rx2 pad on the board.

So I decided to upgrade the whole aio board.

I went with the happymodel x12 elrs.
It has 12A esc and a 400mW vtx, big improovement.

Had to drill some holes on the frame to make it fit and I had to switch the black and yellow connectors on the camera lead to get video.
I desoldered the moror connentors and soldered the motor wires to the exposed pads.

Put the hq-prop 2.5x2x3v2s (basically 2.5 inches diameter and 2 inches of pitch).

I'm running the betaflight 4.3 stock pid tune.

In conclusion it is small and quiet but will rip any park.

UPDATE:
The aio flight controller got fried after sitting in a bush for half an hour.
I would recommend putting the "low power disarm" setting to "on" instead of "on until first arm" if you don't plan on going really far.
Since it was blasting 400mW the whole time it caused the board to overheat.

Expect a 3 inch freestyle build coming in a few months :)

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
