I have always wanted to build an AOS frame, so I decided to get the 5.5 evo. However, I was a bit disappointed that the iflight official store sent me the v1 frame, despite the v1.2 frame being out for months. But I didn't let that stop me. I also wanted to try some larger motors than the 2207s I had put on a 5" frame, so I chose some 2506 1500kv xing2s. I flew her for the first time with my 1200mah 6s cnhl batteries, and she flew beautifully. But these 2506 motors really drew some current, and the voltage sagged really early in the flight. I have extended the battery lead so I can fit a 2200mah 6s, but I haven't had an opportunity to test this combination. I suspect that the weight increase will be too great, and adversely affect the flight characteristics. But I will find out soon enough.
