Form and function meet in the middle with these racers. Why 5s? Because i still have a slew of 4s batteries and want to fly them. this motor prop combo allows me to switch between the two and run the same PiDs with more efficiency than those high Kv rigs . The new low kv 6s craze is great, but try practicing with that rig on 4s! it will barely hover!!
So for practice, depending on the track i can get my two minutes no poblem on 1300-1500 4s and when im ready to rip for real i can bump to 5s with no changes. These motors and the 5.5 props over a low end thrust that makes freestyle a blast as well
The paracord is just for looks although it does further protect the motor wires. It was tied using a cobra style knot. There are racewires underneath for when i have to swap a motor
