AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

How do you like it on 3S? I'm running 1407 3600kv on 3S and it's got some punch, but I can see where 4S would give it a little more oomph.
Im in the same boat, but it flies great. Has plenty of punch. I bet 4s would be another story. Im going to add a few 4s to my stockpile soon and find out.
I may just do the same, but I'll give 3S a good solid go before I do that.
I like your GEP130X build. How are those props? They look awesome. That frame looks like it can handle a HS1177? I switched from the tiny cams to HS1177 and Im never going back!
The props are great. They've taken a beating and I've yet to break one. I'm really tempted to try a 1177. This little camera just doesn't offer very good image quality, but I've heard going to the HS1177 isn't a huge step forward. Got any footage from this?
There is a big difference in my opinion. But there is also a weight consideration. This isnt this build, but its the same HS1177 camera on my Airblade Assault. Ignore the hud, I was messing with stuff lol. With my CMOS cams when I was pointed at the sky the ground turned really dark.... and it just didnt adjust to shadows well. Those are the biggest changes I feel.
I may just have to give it a try! It'll certainly make transitioning around the trees easier.
