Hi guys,

this is the updated version of the previous VarvatusVex v1.0 build.
After some time and practice, it is normal to need more features and more performance.
This version is really funny to fly with, fast and aggressive, with a very good range and 4-5 minutes of hard flight with the Turnigy Graphene 1600mah 75C.

The first limit of the previous version was the 3D printed PETG frame. It was a good starting point, but it is not even comparable with the solidity and the reduction in term of vibrations that can be achieved with a carbon fiber frame. Every crash with a plastic frame meant a full rebuild of the drone that was quite tedious. I will never turn back. Now this quad have a TBS Source One Frame... and it is simply awesome...

Another important improvement regards the range, as this version relies on the Taranis and R9M - R9MM system. The better radio coupled with the R9M, allows to extend significantly the range of the flights to many kilometers (tested 3km easy). For this reason should be considered at least a mid-range drone.

The new FPV camera (Caddx Turbo Micro F2) allows to have really clean images, even in dark situations. The results with this camera were better than expected. Also the VTX was improved with a more recent version (TX805). Goggles in my gear set are FastShark HDO2.

Last but not least, it has a double layer of silicone conformal coating, that makes it water resistant!!
