So this has been an update long in the making.

Back in the day, I built this thing with a nylon? canopy and camera mount and boy was it janky. So i asked a friend of mine to SLA print the canopy for me just to try it out...man, how that changed things ;P

A LONG while later, i finally get back to updating and fixing up this baby of a quad, and what do you know, she purs like a damned kitten what's got all the milk. Ignore all the other photos, the first one is the best one.

She flies awesome outdoors, especially around my house and the woods behind it. WOW, AWESOME

The RDQ VM275T looks like it has a short direct-soldered antenna. How did you get yours to reach the hole at the back of the canopy?

Haven't had the chance to update the build list recently. I ended up using a Shinehole camera from Amazon, same basic design as the 275T but it has a ufl dipole which reaches back quite nicely

No problem. If you could tell me how you like them it would be great! Hopefully I can build a shark soon!

Amazingly, I have yet to maiden it. Ran into some issues with the camera lens getting yanked off the sensor...so much for quality components :D .

I will update as soon as I know. Plan to get to it later this week

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
