Since there are a few color schemed tinysharks on rotorbuilds, i thought i'd just add mine. It is pretty much the standard hardware for a tinyfish/pepperf1sh, with two exceptions. I use the RCX motors and the 1.9" hulkies from gemfan.
UPDATE: Now with the new sharky canopy. To make my AIO camera fit, i had to burn a hole into it to make room for the VTX's antenna part of its PCB.
Update 2: Switched the ESC in favor of the Sunrise Cicada, because, like all electronics i ever owned from them, the FuriousFPV ESC went bad after around 30 lipos. It just wouldn't deliver more than half the power on motor 3. Two days later my FuriousFPV True-D VRX also died, which has led me to the decision to never ever buy any FFPV article anymore.
Update 3: Switched to the excellent Runcam Nano and a micro VTX. This is waaaaaay better than any AIO. I had to remix the canopy and the camera holder, which i uploaded to thingiverse.
Update 4: With the Sunrise ESC i feel comfortable to switch to gemnfan hulkie 2 inch props.
Update 5: Exchanging the VTX. The AKK FX5 has a 16x16mm mounting pattern switchable power output and a small OSD.
How is this setup on 2s? What are you getting for flight times with the 300 man?
well. that depends. i have not been racing with tgia quad yet. i take take quad for freestyling in places where my 5" would be scary. So, for example flying around a playground in mild freestyle/proximity i get 3-4 minutes regularily. Now, with the cold winter i hardly get 1.5 minutes befire the lipo starts sacking badly. the other day i flew a little bit indoors at home and the lipo gave me almost 6 minutes.
How do you like those motors? Do you think they would do OK on 1s?
the production quality of the rcx motors ia much better than the racerstar 1103. For 1S i would go with much higher kv, at least 10000kv or even more.
are they good with 2s though?
sure. I have used them only on 2s so far.
