I have a rare King Crab frame from Falcon Multirotors. The plan is to put some cheap motors on it and build an AP rig. Run in angle mode with an angle limit of 20.
Motors will be no name 2304 2300kv RC Timer Motors for $2.99 ea
06/05/18 - Construction has begun. Midgard has the lipo pigtail and ESC pads tinned. RC Timer motors arrived and the wires are super long. I may try to route them through the arm tips on the King Crab.
06/06/18 - I replaced the nylon screws I had holding the stack together with steel. I also slid a battery strap in there and put down a sticky cushion for a top mount lipo. I think I'm going to go with a higher mw VTX for distance. Coming up with an FPV and HD camera position solution will be the challenge.
07/01/18 - I maidened this build today after completing the build process as best I could. The Fatshark cam burned up when I powered it on. I replaced with an AKK micro than ran off 5v and it worked perfectly. The FPV feed has a lot of prop in view. The Go Pro is mounted using zip ties and hot glue. In order to take off I need a small box to steady the back half of the PMR to level it. The Go Pro is the lowest item on the build and you have to land on it. I did not think about Gopro battery access. The top mount battery is sketchy as hell. Rubberbands may be a great friend on this one.

Honestly this is a good idea... I should make one of these with spare parts for a video rig...
Looking forward to some flight footage! Hope your GoPro doesn't take too much of a beating.
