Sorry but it's kind of a wrong way to start. Soldering and building are great but I would highly recommend to log at least 5, better 10,hours on a sim using your RC transmitter and preferably your goggles before you take your first drone for a flight. Otherwise, flying will not be fun.

I totally agree and appreciate your advice. Taranis transmitter and a sim on my pc was first purchase. We've been taking turns at it for the past 2 weeks. Think he is learning controls faster than this old guy though.
