5" Drone based on Hyperlite Flowride frame
I wasn't sure what theme this quad should have, but when first parts were all black I decided that this quad will be black all the way!
While building the theme was refined toward "KITT Knight rider" theme to play around a bit  . (See "Turbo boost" in the pictures :grinning: .)

I used shorter standoffs to create leaner slimmer look, painted the camera black and also created camera cover to keep water and dirt away from the Caddx cameras exposed circuit board.

Update (8.6.2019)

  • Video feed was ok, but has few Motor RPM related lines running across it. Added external LC filter to make the video feed crystal clear.

  • full telemetry from R-XSR receiver is working.
  • All electric parts are protected with protective varnish to ensure water, moisture or snow doesn't case any problems while flying.

(Note! RotorBuilds.com doesn't allow selecting 5" frame and part list inaccuratelly mentions 6" frame)
