Parts are in the mail...patiently waiting.....
Here is the wiring diagram I came up with for this. If anyone more experienced with thes than me notices somethign wrogn in the diagram CALL ME OUT and le t me know...
3/3/19: Got all the parts in and got it about 75% finished, just have to figure out where / how I want to mount the XM+ mini. Still needs the motors mapped and betaflight setup.
3/9/19: Got everything set up in betaflight and my QX7. May need to flash the firmware on the XM+. There is no rssi on channel 16. Bummer. Added propgaurds and shes a heavy girl. Have to go 2s with 2 x 550 mah 1s batteries for any managble flight times but she rips...at least for me.
3/29/19: Took off the prop gaurds...was draining batteries to dangerous levels for 3 min of flight times. Need to tune it, right now its very sketchy and oer sensitive.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

I'm really liking the build. Do you know what the total weight ended up being?
its actually a mock up. should be ordering the parts soon.
i added pics above.. with the prop ducts shes heavy, not too heavy just a little heavy to be considered a "toothpick" style...still rips on 2s IMO. will be upgrading to an xt30 soon. Also flies much better sans ducts.
