This quad is with Emodia's XXL arms that takes 7" props, but used 6" props for smoothier flight. As 7" props were too off tune.

Quad: 409.41g
Li-Ion VTC6 6S battery pack: 302g
GoPro Hero6: 117.44g

Total AUW: 829g

Flew with this setup: 20min 15km

I've been thinking of building a crusier and also building my own Li-ion battery. Whats a good place to learn how to make a 6s Li-ion battery?

Thanks!

Super clean man.
I love the use of Li-Ion for crusing instead of LiPo, very smart. Post some footage?

Didn't get to fly with it in some nice places yet. Just tests on our air field. As on a vacation I flown mostly with my Nano Goblin LR wing. But maybe soon I'll fly some nicer footage than this test :D

Traditionally we've used analog video systems for low-latency video, but the video quality is far from ideal. It's a trade-off we've been willing to accept for the control. Now we've got the best of both worlds and what..
