I got turned on to this frame flying with a friend and wanted to get one however no one had the frame so I contacted the EvolultionFPV directly. Mark @ EvolutionFPV informed me they no longer sold that frame however he would have one cut for me if I wanted so I jumped on the offer! It is not assembled as suggested as the rear motors are meant to be offset much more than they are the way I have put it together. So this is a learning and experimental experience and thus far it has been great, the frame is rock solid and I cannot thank Mark enough for having it cut for me.
One thing I do not care for especially with this build and using a 20x20 stack is the motor wires on these motors are way too big, in retrospect a different set of motors with a more traditional motor wire gauge would have been a much better choice so I may replace them with some RC 2207s. The pod is from a file I got on thingiverse.com and fit perfectly so I was thrilled with that however fitting everything inside was also a tough one but I put the XM+ under the stack and the Oscar Liang Backpack vtx is heat shrink wrapped and taped to the top of the fc with double sided tape. The antenna is jammed through a hole I made in the pod and is held friction fit quite nicely, I was concerned it would fly off but I have crashed this quad several times and it has held fast so again I am pretty happy.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
