This is my first build and my first 5" quad. I've been flying, crashing, and repairing a 2.5" Tiny Hawk Freestyle for the last two months and decided it was time to upgrade.
Pretty straight forward build. Most of my time was spent researching and watching YouTube videos to make sure everything was correct. I wanted to take my time and keep everything as clean and tidy as possible. Building happened over two evenings. It was far less complicated then I anticipated and honestly, quite enjoyable.
I've flown ten batteries so far and it flies great. I just input my rates and left the stock PIDs. The quad is 785 grams flight weight but its not really noticeable. Average flight time has been 4-5 minutes on 1300mah 6S.
Only had one crash so far and there was zero damage. I clipped an invisible branch and landed in tall grass. Really solid
