First of all the way the stock flight controller mounting on this build really bugged me how the motor wires are not symmetrical. While I was waiting for my AIO board to come in, I was able to design a mount that would enable the AIO board to be mounted in the traditional diamond format. In addition the usb cable plugs into the fc with out removing anything. Since it has a polar camera I wanted to put some LEDS in it just in case I crash at night it will be easier to find. The problem with that was finding leds that would fit in a limited amount of room. A lot of quad leds are either way too big or the smaller ones do not have a led signal pad. I wanted the ability to change the colors and turn them off if I wanted to. So I found some RBG led strip lights on Amazon that did the trick :)

I only flew 3 packs with it so far and I am loving it! I had a iflight DC2 and it's no comparison between the two.

Nice build! Really like the 3d printed aio board adapter 👍, thanks for sharing. Have you flown the cinelog 25HD with the geprc motors? How do they compare to the xing's?

Thanks and your welcome! I haven't flow the Geprc motors because this was a build from scratch. I am pretty sure both motors would preform about the same. It's pretty hard to get a bad name brand motor now a days.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
