The T-Motor Yema frame that GetFPV included with their FPV Crate in 2020 probably did not get the love they were expecting. The frame is, near as I can tell, only sold by GetFPV. I've never seen it on T-Motor's own website. And it's a shame, because it's a pretty great frame.
The frame itself is beefy, with independent locking arms and a sandwich style midplate. Very sturdy. The canopy was the problem. It was extremely small, so this quad was originally made for very tight builds. Forget about squeezing anything DJI in there, it barely has room for a 20x20 stack and a nano camera.
I tried to make it work with the original canopy, but it wasn't happening. So I modified a decent canopy I found on thingiverse to fit the Yema frame, and provide a place in the back to hold a lollipop tightly inside. It turned out much better than I had expected!
The canopy now is 50% infill TPU, tough and takes a beating. I fit a more modest 19mm camera in it now. And there's space for my R-XSR, beeper and vtx with a full 30x30 stack and a few caps. All in all, this is very fun to fly.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
