Did I lie about the Flair? Maybe. I was stoked about this build initially, but rarely find myself in a remote area to fly LR. However with the aquisition of the Stanfpv 2203 1500kv motors I have revisited the build. I swapped the receiver from crossfire to expressLRS on Ghost hardware. Other than that, it's pretty much the same build it's been since I first put it together. I liked the HQ T5x2x3 but durable is the wrong word for these props. They love to explode. For no reason. Fitting given my channel name, I suppose. If I fly 4s liion I have to use Pb&j props 5.1x3 if I fly 6s it's a bit more efficient to drop the pitch to 2.6.

This Rekon 5 runs a Matek flight controller and a T-motor esc that I happened to have lying around. I had tried the StanFPV 2203 1500kv motors on my 2Fiddy and it was ok, but they're much more suited to this build flying long range. And it flies for ages. I use all kinds of packs from my 1200/1250mah 6s, Flywoo 4s Liions and even 530mah 6s packs I use on the 2Fiddy.

I like how roomy the frame is, but I think I could go lighter with an AIO. I might migrate over to an airblade transformer frame I got, but for now, I'll Rekon.... Five.... 6s...

I have a few brass inserts that convert an m3 hole/silicone insert to m2 now. Untill I ordered the maytek 20x20 FC's that they came with, I had a real problem mounting boards with m3 holes to frames with all m2 holes. What did you end up doing?

I use the brass inserts that came with it. I inserted them from the top and have m2 lock nuts on top.
