I added a few revisions from the previous version.

1 Reduced motor mounts to 2.5mm thick (the rest of the frame is 5mm) to recue weight and keep weight more centered.
2 Added extra material around the front and rear standoffs to increase the stiffness in the arms and improve durability.
3 Added a lipo system that weighs about the same as my typical rubberbands that I used.
4 I printed this version in a Carbon Fiber/ PLA mix. I used CooBeen Carbon Fiber PLA found on Amazon. It prints really nicely.

                Pro's of Carbon Fiber PLA
The frame is slightly more rigid than the PLA. This allows for a more aggressive tune.
                 The matte black looks amazing
                 prints very nice.

                 Con's
The frame was about .25g heavier than a PLA frame. (8.8g/PLA to 9.3/CF+PLA)
I haven't broken the PLA or Carbon Fiber frames yet, so both seem durable. Although, I would expect the PLA frame to be more durable due to the extra flexiblity.

This last change isn't frame related, but I switch out my 1203 6200kv to 1202.5 8000kv (output limit to about 7000kv)

Dry weight is 49g and I fly with a 450mah 3s Lipo

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
