MiniBone 3"

I like weird copters, so I present a 3" bone quad. Originally built with spare parts, now the only salvaged parts are the VTX and batteries.

The battery is too large for the quad, though it still has some punch; I might grab some 650 or 550's next. The eco motors are currently not pictured, but seem solid.

Getting in the air is the hardest part, you have to balance it on something to avoid striking the ground with the pusher props. Roll isn't particularly affected by the... unique force envelope of the quad, cornering definitely is, the quad is very floaty around corners. I'm drawing ~9A during punchouts so I could have gotten away with an FC with lower rated ESCs.

Hi, nice build! I'm thinking about building one myself. Is it possible to fit 1303 motors on the Arms the way that hbfpv advertises it?

Just an fyi if you two are running diff FC/ESC/Motors chances are exchanging pid's will just make it fly worse than stock BF tune. So I'd make sure you have a stock dump done before loading pid's just in case..

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
