My first quad build
My first quad build was a blast! Coming from a design background, I wanted to put my own spin on things, so I decided to give the frame a fresh coat of paint. It was a bit of a challenge since I'm fairly new to FPV, but I had a lot of fun figuring it all out. Building the quad wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be, and I learned a lot along the way. The painted frame turned out great, and I'm stoked to get it in the air and see how it flies. Overall, it was a pretty cool experience!

Looks amazing!
Do you mind saying what kind of colors you used to paint it? And did you sand down the carbon or just sprayed it over?
Nice job. Pretty colors, is it montana paint?
Have you tested in flight?
I have the flyfish atlas 4 but I experienced lot of oscillations on the video with o3.
I ordered the same stack as your for upgrade, I really hope the oscilation came from my old FC because I like my Atlas.
What settings have you used for PID and filters?
THank you
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..
Read moreWith the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

sorry to bother you but i am new to FPV and i found yours to be the perfect build for my fist drone i was just wondering what size of battery are using i was thinking about using 1200 Speedy Pizza Drone Battery's but i wanted you opinion and also will the DJI O4 air unit work for the goggles i have which are the DJI goggles 2
Nice! welcome to the hobby! for this build I use 4s Tattu 850mah batteries and 4s GNB 930mah. I also ended up upgrading the motors from 2700kv to 4600kv because it was lacking power. 1200mah seems like it might be a bit too heavy for this build but I'm not sure what sort of flying your're looking for. If you want agile/aggressive flying I would stick to smaller batteries. As far as the goggles, I believe the goggles 2 are compatible with the o4 air units after a firmware update. Just be aware that this frame was designed for the o3 unit and you might need to mod it to work with the o4. Hope all that helps!
