One thing I absolutely love in life is when Form follows function and the end result is something simple, sleek and extremely functional. Those words are what would best describe something like the Colombian Carbon Middleman. The frame itself weighs nothing and the total build came out to 311 grams AUW.

I am blown away by the simplicity, strength and lightweight performance this frame is capable of offering. My build was destined to be a freestyle build, so I was looking for a super light frame, with some beefy motors with a lot of low-end grunt. The Middleman plus the DYS 2206/2300 FIRE motors are a match made in heaven.

There has been a lot of attention to detail and quality on this frame. The arms are nicely rounded and require no carbon preparation. They also supply all the hardware you need including a helpful set of orings and washes so you can do a proper softmount of the FC.

All told the build came out extremely clean, one of the cleanest I have put together so far and the thing just RIPS. I had a very easy time getting it tuned and shortly after my maiden flight I smashed it into a goal post and the quad was absolutely fine. The motor guards work very very well.

I cannot recommend this frame enough, it is unique, extremely light and EASY to build. I had no problems fitting my components in there and durability so far has proven to be quite good. I will make sure to update this page with a final review once I had had a chance to crash it some more for science.
