This site is gonna put me in the poor-house.. I fell in love with the frame when I first saw it posted on the site and knew I would have to build one. The only pain was trying to hide the 4.5 gram Futaba receiver..... should be a thing of the past when my new Taranis comes in this week. I looking forward to some smaller and cleaner builds.

How's the fc/esc combo? Holding up fine?

UnderDawg   Aug 21, 2017

To tell the truth, the negative pad lifted off the ESC on about the 5th pack while I was unplugging the battery. Maybe I overheated the tiny pad when soldering on the lead? I have another 20amp ESC, but haven't taken the time to mount it.

What FC and or PDB will you be using? I've only used the TBS UP on a couple of builds and they have been FC's with built-in OSD

i'm using piko blx. i have eachine vtx03 but it stops working. So i'm up to buy another vtx i want the tbs unify v2 but i dont know how to connect the wire from vtx 4 pins to swift mini 3 pins.

Hi, I would suggest the you solder the cam and VTX power directly to the FC or PDB, making sure the TBS is to 5v and then just connect the video straight from cam to VTX.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
