In the wiring diagram, I have the RSSI cable on the XM+ going to the RSSI input, but this isn't necessary since the new firmware on the XM+ receiver supports RSSI over channel 8 or 16 depending on the firmware that you flash. I also ran a ground cable from the ESC to the flight controller, which I forgot to add to the wiring diagram. This might not be necessary, but could help with motor signals for noise rejection.
Overall I'm very satisfied with this build. It is an excellent frame with good protection of your components.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

Nice build! Thanks a lot for including the wiring diagram and enough photo's to show what the internals look like.
I'm wiring up my new drone with the same HGLRCF4v5+FourInOne ESC, and it was difficult to figure out how.
Do you know what the flight time is with this quad?
